Vespa Primavera Batik
A MODEL THAT CAPTURES ITALIAN DESIGN AND ELEGANT LINES
Why?
For Fun.
In downtown Boston, a man illegally parked his Vespa by chaining it to the pillar of the office building I work in. While waiting for security to cut the chain, I got the opportunity to really examine the bike and see how intricate its design was. When diving deeper into digital sculpting, I knew I had to make a car eventually. But I also wanted something a bit smaller to show range. The Vespa is truly a work of art in its seamless surfaces, that create interesting details. Inspiration instantly hit me and I began modeling it that day.
